• Question: Where in the world can you get serendipity berry

      Hi,

      They are found in tropical Africa and look like this

      If that link doesn’t work they are reddish long berries and grow on a vine. You could probably grow them in a greenhouse here….I might look into getting a plant… 😉

      They have a protein in them called monellin that is 100,000 times sweeter than regular sugar! This is really exciting as it could be used as a sweetener and your body could just treat it as a protein.

      There are scientist looking into this right now so maybe we’ll soon see Monellin in the supermarket!
