      There’s nothing in a sperm cell that can actually damage you.

      Sexually transmitted diseases are present in the seminal fluid which the liquid that the sperm are expelled in. The sperm themselves do not carry the disease. The reason for the fluid is that sperm need to be really light and travel really fast so they can’t carry a lot of food with them, the seminal fluid nourishes the sperm for a bit of their journey.
